Donaldson Coal is a fast-growing innovative coal mining company with operations located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
The company has access to significant coal deposits and over the past few years has shifted its focus to the development of underground coal mines.

Donaldson Coal’s operations are located south of Maitland in the Newcastle coalfield, approximately 25km from the Port of Newcastle and include:
- Donaldson Open Cut Mine;
- Tasman Underground Mine, and
- Abel Underground Mine
